What are the best no load mutual funds?

When it comes to investing in anything, you want to make sure that you invest in what will make you the most money. You don’t want to waste your time and effort investing in something that won’t make a lot of money. That is the point of investing, right?

How do you find the best no load mutual funds?  While I can’t give you a list, you can search around for yourself.  Investments are ever changing.  A fund that did great last year might do horrible next year, but that still doesn’t make it a good or bad investment.

You will probably be able to find a list of mutual funds and you will probably be able to find a list of recommendations.  Should you follow those recommendations?  Maybe, maybe not.  That’s up to you.

While I’m not going to tell you specifically what mutual funds to invest in, I can give you some general recommendations.

Index mutual funds are a popular type of no load mutual fund.

Index mutual funds are funds invested in the stocks of an index such as the S&P 500 or the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA).  These indexes each have their own selection of stocks from the stock market and take an average of them.  When you invest in an index fund, you are invested in the average of the stock market as a whole, in a way.

If you see that the S&P 500 has gone up, you could say that the markets have gone up.  This is why you can see using an index fund as getting an average of the market.  It is a great choice.

Different brokerage firms offer different index mutual funds.  Choose the one of the firm you are most comfortable with.  Can I tell you what the best index funds are or the best no load mutual funds are?  No, I’ll let you do a little research for yourself to figure it out.
